DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures have changed their strategy and decided to delay the launch of one of their major new productions A Boss in Diapers 2: Family Business so that it will now run until fall 2021.
The original plan of the studios was for the second installment of The Boss Baby: Family Business movie to be released on March 26, 2021, but viewers now know that they will have to wait until September 17 of the same year to be able to enjoy it in theaters.
This modification in the launch schedule was confirmed by THR who assures that the change is a consequence of production delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Boss in Diapers franchise has remained in the public eye with an animated series on Netflix and some short films, but its follow-up on the big screen was something that was expected eventually so that the story of the Templeton brothers: Tim and his younger brother the formerly known Baby Boss Ted will continue, the interesting thing is that they moved away growing up and the arrival of a new boss baby in the form of little Tina will make them go back to having fun-filled adventures
The Boss Baby: Family Business is directed by Tom McGrath in the English version will feature the returns of Alec Baldwin, Lisa Kudrow and Jimmy Kimmel, in addition to other stars such as James Mardsen, Eva Longoria, Ariana Greenblatt, Amy Sedaris and Jeff Goldblum.
